About Ibsy & Rose Designs

Hi! I am Angie, the designer and sewist behind Ibsy & Rose Designs. Some of my favorite memories are the trips to the fabric store with my mom as a young girl. We were both over the moon about the endless possibilities of colors, patterns, and textures. Knowing my heart, my dear mom surprised me with my first sewing machine on my 11th birthday.  

 

Since that day, sewing has been a real source of pleasure for me; a joy I very much want to share with others. Inspiration for my quilts comes from the memory making moments in our lives: experiences like the extraordinary gifts found in the changing seasons, incredible color palettes noticed on a nature walk, warmhearted connections across generations on the holidays and the precious miracle of a newborn baby. 

 

Ibsy & Rose Designs originated out of cherished times spent sewing with and for my daughters over the years. In gratitude for these much-loved memories, my business name stems from a combination of their nicknames.
